First, some of you may have gotten multiple copies of the last e-mail. While I
don’t know for sure why, I would guess that in forwarding the last two attached
pictures they may have been too large in terms of pixels for some situations.
We’re trying to figure it out and not sure, but my apologies if you are having
that problem.

Next, because of what has been learned from the discussion of blues, our
webmaster, Mark Buffa, is going to incorporate some of this on our web page.
www.cardersteubenclub.com So, a great deal has been learned and here are
some of Mark’s comments.

As for the funny looking blue, there seems to have been a copper blue jade produced that did not go over well so not much was made and most seems to pop up on the West Coast. Only a few shapes are known to come in it. The 6030 and 6031 are now shapes, along with a footed Grotesque. Most have been calling it “Celeste/Copper Blue Jade” or “God Awful Blue” but no official name has been found. Documents show that a “Blue Jade” 6030 was produced and it sold cheaper than the
transparent colored glass, which kind of indicates that it was a color that did not go over well. I am going to be working on updating the Blue Pages in the color index this weekend and adding some pages specifically for each blue that I have information on. I will try and include a page for this jade blue along with the Persian Blue that has been in discussion.
