Following this year’s Symposium Scott Hansen offered to do a survey of
attendees. Scott had a remarkable response rate of over 60% of the
participants. Of those participants, many not only ranked each part of the
program, but took the time and effort to provide detailed responses. Anyone
who knows anything about surveys knows you never, ever get this kind of a
meaningful response. Scott was going to summarize the detailed responses and
then decided that wouldn’t do justice to them. So, he has delivered a 13 page
report.
As Scott notes, strongly felt responses with a high quality of suggestions. I
think that even though many on this mailing list haven’t attended this
Symposium, that many comments might be of interest to all of those interested
in glass collecting and might solicit other thoughts and responses. So, attached,
here it is.
