You may recall that Bill Mehlenbacher shared his fabulous collection of Metal
holders with Carder Glass at our Symposium. It seems that Bill is at heart an
open salt collector and spoke of the Open Salt Collectors organization, of which
he is a participant. What he failed to report is his role in posing as a decorated Aurene salt
