A response from Rande Bly

Thanks Beth Shaut,

You are right. It is really a lot like Dark Rosa. He is a photo of my Dark Rosa flower frog. I think everyone should check their Dark Rosa pieces if they were to look for this color. I have always seen a touch of orange in Dark Rosa. To me the bath salts jar is different. It has the combination of brown and yellow much like what I see in Russian Amber. It is the color of clover honey and cinnamon mixed together.

Carders Cinnamon Gold Ruby was made from uranium and gold. It will have a strong reaction to black light. There was no reaction under black light from the bath salts jar.

Iron and gold was what Carder used for his Brownish-Yellow Gold Ruby. (perfect ingredients for a brownish-yellow glass)

We have to watch certain shapes for these weird colors. For example what shape are we going to see Rose DuBarry come in a solid color? Would it be exclusive to a threaded bath salts jar? Yes, so far I have only seen Rose DuBarry in a bath salts jar.

Thanks again Beth. Hiding in with the Dark Rosa. It would be the perfect place to look.

We will keep working on the names for these colors. The really cool thing is we are getting the examples. The more different examples we get the more colors we got! How cool is that?

Beth has helped me find a green I had left out of my list. She felt Olive Green had been left out. She was right and I had the 368 vase in that color here at the house. We now have 10 greens and I have a picture of all 7 of the hard ones sitting side by side I will soon share. What a beautiful site they are.
