Lon Knickerbocker of Dansville, New York asks Rande Bly about the color of the reeding on this piece we’ve been discussing.
I was wondering if you can ask Mr. Bly what color the threading is on the very rare possibly Brownish-Yellow Gold Ruby bath salts jar he has shared with the club.
Rande responds
Black lid
Black threading
We have a lead on another one right now/ We just have to make sure theirs is not Bristol Yellow and black before we buy….this may be the only shape this color comes in???
The greens have come out really good Alan. 35 years on the greens. I thought no one would ever get them. once I got Celadon straight and Marshall had to change it the pieces started falling into place fast. Then my discovery of Window glass was right behind it. If we fix Marshalls Antique Green and add the new ones we will have the 10 greens right!
