Issue 722
The back and forth with questions and answers is a learning experience. Thanks to all who have participated in the discussions on color. It’s rewarding to get comments from John Styler on how much he has learned. Or Brooklyn’s Tommy Dreiling who says:
I’m really enjoying all the discussions about the colors. There is obviously a lot of information that has never been published in any book. If someone comes up with a book proposal I’ll let Pete Schiffer know that I would stock it at Barnes & Noble (I’m the Antiques and Collectibles book buyer)
There is an interesting piece up at the next Early auction. Lot #452 does anyone have an idea as to what color it is? To me it looks like a pale lavender gray, could it be Moonlight?
There is much knowledge on Carder’s work that is in people’s heads or experience. It’s wonderful to share to upgrade everyone’s knowledge and help new collectors. With fewer opportunities to see, touch and feel Carder’s works it becomes harder and harder to become knowledgeable.
