We sent this out this morning with considerable pdf attachments. Because of the size of the file, many were rejected by various spam catchers and size limited equipment. So, here it is again, but without attachments.

There has been widespread national newspaper coverage on the closing of Steuben. I’ve asked Tom Dimitroff, David Goldstein and Beth Shaut about it. We’ve heard from David. Next, to Tom’s response.

Hi,

I was interviewed for an entire day by Ben Dobbin an Associated Press reporter from Buffalo. In addition to my comments I also gave him a short list of others to contact: Max Erlacheer, David Dowler, Eric Hilton, David Goldstein, Jeff Purtell, Etc. As a result, articles on this by Ben have appeared all over the country. A lot of nice people have sent me copies.

I am sending you some photos of some of the papers. Our local ones here in Elmira-Corning, Syracuse, T. Louis, etc. Sandra, Bob Rockwell’s daughter sent me a copy from California.

The most complete coverage was is the current issue of the Antique Trader (Nov. 23, 1011).

In the meantime I have been interviewed by local and far away radio and Television. In fact in about ten minutes another radio reporter will be here.

I tell you all of this simply to let you and the others know how much interest there has been all over the country about Steuben’s demise.

Beth Shaut provides another link in her response.

Tom Dimitroff and I were also interviewed for this. He gave me his card and said if I could not access it by radio that it could be access on their web site when it was ready to air. www.InnovationTrail.org
