Today marks the 250th birthday of the United States!

At half this age (125 years ago), Frederick Carder was still in England, working at Stevens & Williams and perhaps starting to think about his own ideas for a company.  Just two years later he would immigrate with his family to Corning, New York and start Steuben Glass Works.  Then, as they say, the rest is history.

Happy birthday, USA!  We hope you enjoy the Fourth with some red, white, and blue glass.
