Architectural Glass

A request was made last week to help identify this architectural piece of glass.

David Donaldson of Orlando suggests:

ID Clinic: I am not sure of the maker, but I would think that it would be some sort of lighting slip / slide shade which allows room for a light bulb.

It also tends to conjure a European flavor in my mind. My 2 cents to start the ball rolling.

Another reader thought it might be Lalique.
