Issue 3326
Hi Alan!
I had a few suggestions for some new topics for the Gazette in case that gave you some ideas to spice things up (so to speak). I don’t know if others might find these interesting as well.
1/ I love to hear “origin stories” — how people found their way to know about Steuben, or to begin collecting it. Perhaps we could ask some people to write a short paragraph or two to share their experience, and publish them over time?
2/ I also love to see items from people’s collections. Perhaps a photo or a favorite piece (doesn’t need to be rare) but a story of why that is a personal favorite?
3/ Member introductions — This idea might be a dud, but perhaps in conjunction with #1 or #2 above we can get to know a little bit more about our fellow club members (outside of the glass).
4/ Line drawing hunting — I have a few pieces where I am quite certain they are Steuben, but I can’t find an exact match in the line drawings. Would it be appropriate to get opinions?
If all of these have already been well-traversed or are just terrible ideas then please feel free to ignore. I know you are doing well!
Regards,
Cheryl Dartt
Looking For a Stopper
Several weeks ago I bid and won a cologne 1455, clear with silver overlay but no stopper. Is there a place where I could find a silver overlay flame stopper to adorn my $2.00 purchase? John Styler

Thank You Notes
Alan,
What a wonderful story from Jennifer Schusler. Her father is a man who knows how to give a thoughtful and meaningful gift to his wife. Kudos!! Thank you again for sharing those lovely pieces.
