WHAT’S NEW IN THE SHAPE GALLERY?

If you haven’t browsed our Shape Gallery on the website recently, you are officially missing out! We’ve added some absolutely fabulous pieces of transparent and colored Steuben glass that will completely knock your socks off. Many of these stunning new arrivals came from Bill Mellenbacher’s incredible collection, while a few other rare gems were spotted on the road. Here is a sample of the latest additions.

You can view new additions by visiting the CSGA website and clicking on “Recent Additions” under the Shape Gallery header to enjoy the latest beautiful pieces.  You’ve got to go take a look. Enjoy the view!

We invite you to send photos of any items you may have that are not yet documented.  Submit your photos and information about the piece (dimensions, color, etc.) to webmaster@steubenglass.org.

SYMPOSIUM IS COMING

The *25th* Annual Carder Steuben Symposium will be held on September 18-19, 2026 in Corning, New York. Look for articles announcing this year’s program and special events, coming soon. We have blocks of hotel rooms with special negotiated rates; make your hotel reservation today!

We are collecting items for our annual fundraising auction that will be held during the Symposium Banquet in September.  All proceeds from the auction benefit the Carder Steuben Glass Association and help to support our mission.

You can help support the CSGA by donating or consigning Carder Steuben glass, post-Carder Steuben glass, glass from the same era, or glass with relevance to Corning.  Other items like books, New York state wine, event tickets, or Frederick Carder items also make great auction entries.  If you are interested in supporting our organization in this way, please send item descriptions to Karen Beeman at symposium@steubenglass.org. You can bring your donations to the Symposium or ship them in advance to: CSGA c/o S. Coots, 14681 Lakeshore Rd., Kent, NY 14477.
