David Chadwick-Brown comments on some of his shelves of glass

Green, cut to clear shown in Dimitroff (page 257) notes this was without a number because a non-production piece.

from left to right, Alabaster fan vase; window glass green with Celeste blue that always seems to adorn that lightest of the green glasses. Special green (which I for so long incorrectly called ‘teal’) in the back corner.
On the right, Rose DuBarry and (unusually) light blue jade jars.

Just by happenstance – actually because I am running out of cabinet space…! – you have a clustering of Intarsia, Rouge Flambe, and Mandarin Yellow – almost a syzygy…!

Some More Images from the Brilliant Cut Glass Weekend

Hi Alan,

I have been enjoying the photos of the cut glass show. I have never been to such a show, thus I was surprised to see other kinds of glass (e.g., non-cut Steuben in translucent colors) also being offered for sale. Is that typical of cut glass shows, or are some/most of them restricted exclusively to cut wares?
