Good morning members of the Carder Steuben Club,

It is that time of year when we ask for all members to renew their memberships, and also ask potential new members to join us and support a great organization.

I am now in my final year of my second two year term, which is all a member is permitted to serve in any one position, consecutively. I would like to say “thank you” to our complete membership and to the other board members who have so often helped me in my fun filled four years – say that four times fast!

Now to the bottom line – it’s dues time! Dues will remain the same amount for 2012, $35. for a individual membership and $55. for a two person household. Dues can be paid by going to the Carder Steuben website and following the prompts, or you may renew by mail by sending a check to the club’s postal box at the following address:

Each member will receive two e-mails. An initial e-mail will come through the newsletter and the second e-mail will come from me and go to current members only. The second e-mail will be the same as the first if your dues are currently due. If you joined after April of 2011 you will not owe dues for the coming year and the second e-mail will inform you of that. Most of you will owe your yearly dues, however if you’re not sure wait until you receive your second e-mail before you respond. As always if you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the other board members.

2012 Carder Steuben Club annual Symposium will be held at The Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY from September 20-22, 2012.
