I purchased the chandelier at auction. The original finish was more like a
brushed bronze, but was in terrible shape (starting to crack off the top as if
maybe it had been spray painted.) I had it restored in a oil rub finish, all except
the tassel hanging from the bottom. I’ve always wondered if the shades were
added to this light fixture, or if the two together are original. I could find no
mark on the lamp (of course, it doesn’t mean there wasn’t one, I just couldn’t
find it if it was there. Any information you can give me, I’d love to have.
