YOU CAN ONLY KEEP ONE

Oct 5, 2009
Issue 694

Well, the Symposium has ended. What a power house. What memories. Hopefully, many who attended will send in their reflections. One of the power house treats was a program where the participant showed the one piece of glass they would retain, if that was the only piece they could retain, along with their story of why. We’ll trot out a few and hopefully whether you attended the Symposium or not you’ll share your “if only one piece”. So, here goes the first from Tommy Dreiling of Brooklyn who could not attend, but sends what is truly his only one piece.
I don’t know if you will be able to use this, I should have sent it earlier. The “if you could only keep one piece” was a very true occurrence for me. I sold my collection to pay medical bills and the one item, actually set, that I kept was this Citron consol set with colorless flower frog and “Girl in a Circle” figure.
