from Rande Bly
Alan,
I would like to back up to shelf number one (top right corner) from David C-B’s recent photo.
David C-B showed a console set in light yellow that consisted of a pair of twist stem candlesticks and a footed centerpiece bowl with ring handles.
More importantly, David referred to this color as Citron Yellow. Everyone needs to understand that in the field of Steuben that the shade of color we have referred to in the last 30 plus years as Citron Yellow no longer exists. All examples of what was previously called Citron Yellow have been moved to Topaz. If the readers want to stay current go to the club site and search for Citron Yellow you will see that there are zero examples. None are shown. If you do a search for Topaz you will see a number of examples of this yellow color listed as Topaz.
Let’s start with a picture of what we all used to know as Citron Yellow twist stem candlesticks that are now listed at the website as Topaz.
