Several cluthra sill vases/bowls, and the thickness of the tall Rosa vase gives it a hue quite different from its usual application as rims of clear plates.

Salt and Peppa

I was intrigued by the “Collecting with Jeff” posted in yesterday’s Gazette so I had to see where and when the Blue Aurene salt & pepper shakers where sold. It was the 7/27/2013 auction at Jeffrey Evans, a collection of hundreds of Salt & Peppers and Sugar Shakers from the Richard & Mary Ann Krauss of Ohio. A pair of Steuben Ivrene also sold for $1265.
