Well said Willson Craigie of Richmond, Virginia

I’m compelled to write: We have purchased many very fragile glass objects over the years: some from readers of this club’s info.

PLEASE – If you package something, keep in mind that lots of packaging tape does NOT enhance the safety of the glass object…….

I received a package today that was exceedingly difficult to extract the crystal object from all the bubble wrap taped with packaging tape over and over as if that would help secure the item’s safety. All that tape makes it very difficult to safely unwrap…… it’s horrible. I use large industrial scissors, razor blades, snips, box cutters (all with very sharp blades) and still find it a feat of heart surgery. Some tape here and there to keep bubble wrap in its place is fine, but round & round with tons of tape is just not the best way.

Thanks for reading this complaint……..
