Development Costs
Well said, Norman Skolnick. Digitization, copyright clearance and website development costs will be high. It would be good to know how large a total dues-paying membership might be. There might be some way of constructing pay-per-view walls for non-members.

No Post Carder Steuben Club Exists
Norman Skolnick is under the impression that a modern Steuben club exists. In so far as we know, no such organization exists. If we modify our mission to take post Carder Steuben under our wing we would be it. That is one of the reasons we have had the types of discussions that we have had since this has not been done before and we have really no idea what kind of reception it would get in the post Carder Steuben collecting community.

This is a relatively early amethyst vase in shape 1770. For reasons that are not quite clear we do not see many Steuben examples with drawing numbers between 1000 and 2000. There are a number of exceptions to this of course.
