Q. Alan, The fifth plaque down (green one) has a disc behind it. (Looks like the sun.) Did the disc fit into another slot behind the green plaque? Is the disc Carder Steuben also or a form of stretch glass? Thanks for interesting Gazettes. Regards, Jeremy Hayes

A. Jeremy, there are three parts to that luminor. The back part is a Carder Gold Aurene disc. The middle part is a light. The front part is the green kneeling figure. When the light is on it reflects off the gold aurene and also illuminates the green plaque .
