Great Presentation Scott Coots!

Alan,

Our local public library has a couple of show cases and encourages local residents to display collections that interest them.

For the month of May, I have placed a small collection of Carder Steuben iridized glass in one of the show cases. The display is open to the public at the main branch of the Greece Public Library. Scott Coots, Rochester, NY

Glass Show

Regarding the Glass Show in Carlisle this weekend, this is the same show that used to be in Harrisburg. We used to go regularly 5-10 years ago, and there was always some American art glass, including Steuben and Durand. They moved to Carlisle a few years ago, and starting last year under new management, so I can’t vouch for which dealers still do the show. However, I will be there this weekend, helping out a cousin who sells cut glass. Her business is called Iris’s Cottage, so if you come to Carlisle, please come by and say “hello.”

I go to the Carlisle antique show every spring & fall. Love it. It draws attendees from neighboring states. It’s going to be a great show this spring as it’s under new management and all spaces are booked. Should be a good show. Hope to see you there. Dean Powlus, Harrisburg, Pa.
