Magical Material

Friday’s opening presentation by former Steuben designer, Eric Hilton, looks at glass as a magical material.

Beth Shaut of Corning, NY says, Eric Hilton was an exciting look into his experience in the Steuben Glass field. His slide show of his work was so prolific into every aspect of glass design.

Reflections

You are correct it was a great symposium and Bonnie and team did an outstanding job! The presenters were all really good and diverse in their topics. Steve Skalsky, Chandler, AZ

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to show and speak about the “Outstretched Hand of Liberty”. It was a special evening having my good friend and artistic partner, Max Erlacher beside me talking about our artistic journey. Max never had the opportunity to see all eight plaques together, you gave him the chance to do so. I call such times “Corning Moments” and this was a very special one.
It was so nice seeing and talking with everyone, thank you for your kindness. The program and speakers were all terrific. I always learn something new, the talks often inspire ideas for new work.Your club and seminar pass on Carder’s legacy to a new generation of artists and art lovers.

I hope to see you all next year for another exciting program, until then I remain your friend,

Sincerely,

Debbie Tarsitano, Westford, MA
