Didn’t Get Your Gazette Yesterday? Several of you didn’t. I would guess it’s because we sent out a bevy of pictures from the Symposium and likely some of you or your provider has size limitations. Sorry about that; we’ll limit the number of pictures and see how that works. I particularly am sorry to our ace photographer, Janet Ziffer who didn’t receive the Gazette with her fabulous photography.

The Wabash and Erie Canal

The Symposium Opened with a welcome to the Corning Museum by Robert Cassetti, Senior Director, Creative Services and Marketing. The Carder Steuben Club has a long time history of being formally welcomed by CMoG.
Mr. Cassetti, also shared a new form of CMoG outreach . Mobile Hot Glass Demonstrations will be taking place aboard a GlassBarge traveling around New York State. The 2017 GlassBarge deployments are a prelude to an ambitious statewide deployment in 2018, planned to celebrate the 150th anniversary of glassmaking coming to Corning from Brooklyn via the New York Harbor, the Hudson River and the Erie Canal.
