Announces exhibit from June 1, 1982 to September 5, 1983 of Gifts of Glass,, 1885-1920

“Take in a special exhibit of some 75 pieces of turn-of-the century glass donated to the Smithsonian Institution by manufacturers of that era. Also on view are objects related to methods of manufacture Two types of handmade glass are on display: art glass by Tiffany and Frederick Carder, and cut and engrave glass by Libbey, Hawkes and Dorflinger.
