The Secretary

Jun 11, 2008
Issue 372

For those of you who know our Club secretary and former president, Dick Bright, the following announcement that he sent to a number of his friends and acquaintances may be of interest. Dick & Kyle own a charming and historic home, on the hill, in Corning that they have made into a charming B&B, featuring many antiques and a large and delightful Carder Steuben Collection.

It is now official we are selling the Bed and Breakfast. It was listed June 1st. With the present economy we may still be here for another two years. Our primary intent is to sell it as a bed and breakfast before offering it as a private residence.
We have no idea where we will finally settle. As Scarlet said “I’ll think about that tomorrow”.

Dick also points out that when in the last e-mail I referred to Tom Dimitroff’s glass at 64 West antique store, the correct name is 94 West Antiques. Also, while I noted that Lon Knickerbockers Carder Steuben glass for sale at a space he maintained at an antique store on Market Street that he no longer has that space.
