The Vase
Yesterday’s Gazette had a picture of Marie McKee, President of CMoG, holding a Verre de Soie vase. The vase was a gift to Marie from the Club to thank her for all her assistance to the Club over the years and to wish her well in her upcoming retirement. The Club has received a beautiful, handwritten thank you note from Marie (the art of the proper thank you note is not dead). Among other thoughts in the note, Marie reflected on the partnership that has developed over the years between the Club, its members and the staff of CMoG. (Author’s note: It’s a wonderful, symbiotic partnership that has benefited both organizations and their members and it is certainly something the Club is committed to preserving and enhancing in the future.)
