It’s Time For A Celebration

A Carder Birthday Celebration, Welcome Reception and Glass Show is the feature for Thursday evening, September 15 as part of the Carder Steuben Symposium. September 18 will mark Frederick Carder’s 153rd birthday.

The Club will honor Tom and Peetie Dimitroff for their many years of hosting the Annual Carder Dinner, which they retired from last year. The event will also include a Glass Show, full of Carder Steuben pieces from our member dealers.

Former Carder Dinner guests are invited. Tickets are $25 per person in advance, but included in the registration fee if attending the Symposium.

Jam or Jelly?

I might not use my Carder Steuben wine glasses, but come to brunch at my house, and you’ll get a choice of jam in one of the two pictured “jam jars.” Both Shape# 1830 with applied pear and leaf finials. The one on the left is verre de soie and the one on the right is topaz. I guarantee they make the jam taste better.
