Evaluation Forms have been mailed to all Symposium participants. The response deadline is Friday, October 22. Please make every effort to complete and return the form by the deadline. The evaluations are a critical part of the planning process for subsequent Symposiums. Not only do we find out what we can improve but we also learn what works well and should be repeated. Also, for attendees and those who didn’t attend, but possibly might, mark down on your calendar now, Sept. 15, 16 & 17 for next year’s Symposium. Also, any thoughts on speakers, please let us know.

The dinner for the hidden message goes to Charley Giard of Monson, Mass. In the Collector’s Favorite of the Brown Aurene vase sent out yesterday it identifies the piece as shape #2683. Actually, it is shape #2737. No one has mentioned this error in all of these years until Charley noticed it yesterday. Interestingly, the piece is also pictured at Plate IX of the Gardner book and the wrong shape number is given there.
