Two month countdown to the 2008 Carder Steuben Club Symposium held at The
Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY Sept. 18-20. See the attached
brochure. There should be something of fascinating interest for everyone.
Make plans, set aside the date. For Club members and attendees there will be an
auction. See attached letter from Marshall Ketchum on details for submitting
glass. The auction is part of the fun of things. Note, because of the substantial
auction contributions last year, depending upon response we may put some items
up for a silent auction at the Friday night pizza party at Dick Bright’s B &
B. Also note, that instead of the usual identification session, this year we will
share memorabilia. Should be interesting alternative to see what “paper” is out
there that you haven’t seen.
