SYMPOSIUM UPDATE

The second mailing of the Symposium materials to members occurred yesterday. For non-members, a pdf version of the brochure is attached. Registrations have already been received from members in 9 different states and Canada so we are off to a good start. If you haven’t already sent in your registration, please do so soon. The early registration price expires September 10 when the registration fee increases. Also, remember that there are only a limited number of discounted hotel rooms available at the Radisson and the Comfort Inn. The discounted room rates expire on September 1 at the Radisson and on September 23 at the Comfort Inn, unless the block of rooms is filled before then.

If you are coming to the Symposium, please dig through your collection and bring your favorite goblet, sherbet or plate to the Symposium to share during the Group Collector’s Choice session on Saturday. If you don’t want to travel with the object, bring a digital photograph on a disk or flash drive so the image can be projected on the screen. You’ll have an opportunity to share why the color, shape, pattern, acquisition story or sentimental value is so special to you. This was a popular session last year and we hope to repeat that success this year.
