Uncased Cintra?

I recall it was individual black and white stripes on a clear matrix with no clear casing.. As I recall, it was 12″ in height if not about 15″. It appeared to my eyes to be uncased Cintra……..one in the same but different due to no casing.

Cintra pieces might be formed either with or without an outer crystal glass casing. Striped Cintra pieces were produced about 1917; with other variations in patterns, the technique continued in use into the 1920s.

A variation of the striped technique called Lace glass was made about 1930. These pieces were usually somewhat thinner than Cintra pieces made in cased crystal glass, and contained more bubbles. Specimens of the short-lived Lace glass are extremely rare. About sixteen shapes were made, usually with blue and white, pink and white or black and white stripings.
