Carder’s Inspiration

The Strawberry Mansion was built by the first Justice of Philadelphia. The building was restored in the early 1960’s and Carder was asked to design a dinner set from a piece of broken Feudal glass found on the premises. The Strawberry section of town is behind where the mansion stand but not a part of it. The mansion is set up for tours and other events. Beth Shaut
