At Binghamton University Art Museum

Dear Carder Steuben Club,

I wanted to let you know about an exhibition of Frederick Carder works that Binghamton University Art Museum (“BUAM”) is hosting this fall: Steuben’s Era of Color: the Glass of Frederick Carder.

On view Sept. 5-Dec. 7, 2019. The works were a recent donation to BUAM, and will be on view in our mezzanine gallery.

We will also host a lecture by Dr. Amy Robbins, a recent PhD from BU’s anthropology program, entitled “Frederick Carder’s Colorful Experiments in Glass.” This will take place in the BUAM galleries on Saturday, October 5 at 2 pm.

The event and admission to BUAM are free and open to the public. I’ve attached below our exhibition poster, so you have a sense of some of the works in the exhibition. Feel free to share this information with whoever you see fit, and feel free to contact me with questions.

All the best,

Claire L. Kovacs, PhD
