Fran Gabel sees dilution of the Steuben name.
My 2 cents , for what it is worth. Steuben, was a first rate American company. They symbolized American craftsmanship. Now most of it is made abroad. It has lost it ‘s clout. For the first time ever the New York store is having a sale. This indicates business is off. I think this trickles down to the value of Steuben Carder glass. To those who are more experienced collectors and dealers, do you think I have a point? Fran Gabel, Morristown, N.J.
