From Tom Dimitroff of Corning, New York

I wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year.

I thought I might share a couple of old photographs with everyone. Please forgive the quality of the photos – or perhaps I should say the lack of quality. They are just old snapshots.

The first is of a very nice Blue Aurene compote. Note the merese or joiner between the bowl and the stem. It is Gold Aurene – not Blue with heavy gold highlights, but Gold Aurene.

On the right of the second photo is quite a fan vase. God-forbid I even mention the red, but what makes it interesting is that it is a three-color piece and it is red, white (colorless) and blue. I guess I should at least mention the little piece to the left of the fan vase. Quite a piece of Cintra!

Best,

Tom Dimitroff
