After Jim Sutterfield sent this message. Alan, I would suggest the glass made at Steuben NY is a lead composition and the one from Germany in stemware is not. Jim

Alan – Wow, I’m shocked that they are not even using the Steuben crystal formula!!! That was a huge part of what made Steuben special. Maybe this change will make the vintage crystal more valued in the secondary market place than it has been.
