First Bob Mueller wrote an item on Jades which was included in our Gazette a few weeks ago. Fran Gabel of Morristown, New Jersey responded by pointing out a wonderful article that appeared in Traditional Home magazine in September of 2000 entitled “The Many Shades of Jade.” I, in turn answered how the beauty of this article moved me as a collector, and my following experiences with Tom Dimitroff, who played a major role in the article. Fran Gabel realizing that much is lost without seeing the article itself called Michael Diver, Managing editor of Traditional Home magazine asking permission to republish the article in the Gazette, and receive that permission. So, here attached is the article and its wonderful photography. Let me suggest that this is one of the most magnificent pieces of photography I’ve experienced. I hope many of you would agree.
