RED CABOOSE

Hi Randy,

I am going to send you a railroad lantern with the red glass insert made by Steuben. It will be an interesting addition to your investigations and perhaps aid in further enlightment as to specificity in your red glass colors quest. (Couldn’t resist the pun)!

Best regards,

Jo Ann Godawa

CARDINAL RED

Mr. Bly – You asked “What does everyone think?” on the subject of cardinal red. I don’t know what “everyone” thinks, but I know what I think. Give it up. You’ve filled many Gazettes ad nauseam on the subject of cardinal red including the plate (just search past Gazettes for “cardinal”) and yesterday’s Gazette doesn’t hold or promise anything new. You’ve beat this horse to death.
