In the continuing quest to find out more about Carder’s Cinderella slipper Tom Dimitroff of Corning, NY provides this goodie.

Hi,

In my book, Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass: American Classics, there are two references and a photograph about the slipper in the Corning Museum of Glass. It was worn by Gloria Swanson. Most interestingly, it was chosen to be a part of the Bond Street Exhibition in England which was the first time an American industrial art form had ever been on display in England.
