At page 39 in The Collector’s Encyclopedia of American Art Glass, John A. Shuman III defines Rosaline.
Rosaline -Steuben
This pink jade glass having a soft rose color was almost without exception, accentuated with Alabaster. Rosaline has a cloudy appearance and yet is quite appealing to the eye. Paper labels or acid-etched Fleur-de-Lis signature are the ones to seek. Examples may be further decorated with copper wheel engravings or the application of finials, feet, handles, rings, etc. in Alabaster glass. Complete dinner services, vases, console sets, covered jars, bowls and even acid cutback items may be discovered.
