Reminders

Sep 8, 2008
Issue 406

Reminder that we’re down to a week and a half before the Symposium. Promises
to be a rockem sockem event. Brochure attached. Note, you can sign up now and
until as late as at the Symposium. However, if you will be signing up, but just
haven’t registered, if you could send an e-mail indicating your attendance it
would help with the planning. Also, remember to be your ephemera to the
Symposium. Also, attached is a letter from Marshall Ketchum telling you how
you can supply glass for the auction. More is still needed and you can e-mail him
with arrangements.

Finally, on view next week to be seen and admired, at 94 West shop (on Market
Street) will be the refectory table that Mr. Carder lived with for most of his
Corning life. Ruth deLorraine of Corning reports that it is a table that is approx 8′
long and 2 or 3′ wide. This piece has a fine provenance and is interesting and exciting
just because of whose it was. How often does such a chance present itself?
