Opalescent White and Green Cintra Vase

Artistic Description

Opalescent white over Spanish Green Cintra glass; blown, acid etched, ground. Vase has narrow foot, widens to shoulder, narrows at cylindrical neck and has flared rim. Marbled clear and green glass visible on interior. Exterior has matte finish and is decorated with relief designs of flowers, leaves and stems.

Banquet and Raffle

As in past years, Symposium attendees and guests will have the pleasure of a nice dinner at Corning, Inc. overlooking the beautiful Chemung River. It’s a “dress up” event that is fun and is fitting end to Symposium Weekend.

Since we’ve moved our auction to Friday night, this year we will have a raffle of donated items , glass, books, tickets, gift baskets, etc. , as a fundraising event for the Club. Raffle tickets will be sold at the dinner. Bring cash or checks for tickets.

It promises to be a fun event!
