Issue 704
Lisa Ackerman of Orange, California sends this along as a first time Symposium attendee.
I wanted to share that I learned a lot at the Symposium. Not only have I reviewed my notes already in researching the possible origin of a lamp we got in last week, but because of getting to see so much Carder-Steuben up close and personal, I was inspired to take a chance on a little purple goblet we found Monday morning in Hammondsport. It wasn’t very much $, and I figured it was worth the risk of travel in my suitcase. Upon getting it home, I found the shape in Marshall’s book. Yippee! Thank you, Lord, and thank you, Symposium.
Attached is my little Amethyst goblet. 🙂 Lisa
