Helaine Fendelman of New York City gives a recommended read:
Just finally read the Gallerie St. Etienne article on fakes in the marketplace and found it to be one of the most concise, well written on the subject. Good for all collectors, no matter their expertise, to read and digest!

Robert Bjork supplies an answer to the question about paperweight perfumes
Paperweight does not refer to the weight of the piece, but rather the technique in the making. Paperweight technique, Art Glass generally has lampwork flowers or other designs created by fabricating the flower or design at the flame and later encasing it in glass. Steuben Cintra cologne bottles can be referred as paperweight colognes. However, the Cintra design is picked up on the molten glass which is further encased.
