Dick Bright of Corning sends with the attachment this “beauty” along for your pleasure
We all remember Betty Wahlig from her bio of Bob Rockwell but did you know her husband John is an award winning artist? John is a retired dentist, here in Corning, and he recently had a showing of his paintings in a local gallery. The announcement for the showing was on a postcard showing a painting of his of Carder Glass.

I have seen many renditions of artists attempting to capture the beauty of Carder Glass but I have never seen one as beautiful as this one. I called John and Betty and went up to see the original. It is breathtaking.

With some luck some copies may be available at this year’s Symposium in late September.
