Anne Frank Inspiration

On a visit to the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam, I had the privilege of touring her attic-hiding place, where I saw Anne’s red and orange gingham diary.

My visit to the Anne Frank house was very moving and upon returning home I designed my portrait of “Anne Frank.” The flowers are made in a gingham pattern that reflects the colors of her diary. Debbie Tarsitano
