Keith Trippi of Grand Island, New York writes to ask about attendees sharing their one favorite piece of art glass at the Symposium.
Should it be clarified that the “collectors choice” (“collectors will have an opportunity to share the one piece of art glass they would keep if they could keep only one”) applies only to Carder/Steuben glass, or has this segment been opened up to anything made by anyone?

Keith, I would think this is focused solely on Carder Steuben Glass. However, if the moderator of that program, Mark Chamovitz, says otherwise I’ll let you know.

We asked whether anyone has thoughts on where else we might send our press release about the Symposium. Fran Gabel of Morristown, New Jersey writes to suggest the New York Times. Great idea, Fran. I wonder whether some of you out there might know, have a contact or can help with that distribution so that we just don’t mail it in, in general, but can send it in a focused way that might help it get placed in the Times. Please let me know. Also, if you know of other appropriate publications please reply back.
