Where’s Bob?

I wondered why we haven’t heard from Bob Mueller in the Gazette, with no email or phone contact so I contacted his family. I learned Bob is in a rehab facility, Golden Living Lynwood, 5700 E River Rd., Fridley, MN 55432, I am sure he would love to hear from his old friends, he asked me if I could let them know.

One of My Favorite Pieces

From CSC board of directors member, Bonnie Salzman of Richmond, VA

Dear Alan,

This is just ONE of my favorite pieces, as I have many. This is a #3425 blue aurene cologne. This one is 9″ tall, which is taller than normal.

I love the very classic shape that Mr. Carder is known for, but I really love the very unusual stopper. The 3 leaves have been put together to form a bud of sorts. This must have been difficult to make, and I admire the artistry as well as the craftsmanship. Very simple and elegant.

Peg Lamp

Alan –

David Chadwick-Brown’s lamp is Shape 6387. There is a complete image of that lamp in the Shape Gallery (cardersteubenclub.org). That picture should allow David and Charles Sweigart to decide if it is a peg lamp.
