I am disappointed in the limited scope of the collection in the Rhode Island School of Design. Their photo archives only has one modern piece pictured for “Steuben”. Years ago I visited the museum and was disappointed by their lack of early 20th century glass on display.
But they do have a piece cited for Frederick Carder!
circa 1884
Jack Hartwein-Sanchez
Based on the 1884 date, it would reflect Carder’s time at Stevens & Williams in England. Looks like early development of Moss Agate. Any other thoughts about this piece?
