We have added a new section on the website where we are going to post Advertising that Steuben issued during the Carder era. We currently have the section up and running with four items.

Mystery Green
Thank you Dr. Greg Merkel and thank you Marshall Ketchum for your fast response to change the web site.
Greg. The other Steuben colors that would contain uranium and could fall in the green category along with Pomona Green could be English Pomona Yellow, and English Pomona. It seems Carder used the term pomona when he worked with what we might call Vaseline glass…..too long of a story for now.
The mystery green we now have when viewed in person has a color just like Jolly Rancher sour apple candy. I have seen Vaseline glass in yellow(Citron), light green(sour apple), and medium green (Pomona). So, I personally would like to see the formula for English Pomona as a possible match. Then comes the hard part…..impossible in some cases.
You have to take that name from Carder’s 1926 notebook of English Pomona( which we do not see anywhere else) and properly transfer it into a Steuben name like say “Cario Green” or the likes. None of this is simple. I will show a photo of the mystery green.
